Build ledger
Security you can operate, not merely subscribe to.
Edgion Shield exists for operators who need a coherent edge without surrendering their traffic history or stitching together a rack of vendors.
The premise
Ownership is an operating constraint.
A private edge is not private because the interface says so. It is private when data flow, policy compilation, administrative authority, and failure behavior all preserve the same boundary.
That is why WAF, authoritative DNS, TLS, routing, network streams, mail policy, analytics, and AI governance are treated as parts of one system. Fewer hidden joins mean fewer places for intent and runtime to disagree.
Current operating record
Claims are attached to mechanisms.
- Data boundaryEnforced
Tenant-scoped operational data is isolated at the database boundary. Customer analytics remain inside the infrastructure the customer operates.
- Policy sourceUnified
The control plane owns the declared configuration; rendered edge, DNS, TLS, mail, and security state are derived from that source.
- Public telemetryGated
A separate global aggregate may become public only after delay, contribution, visitor, rounding, and dominance tests pass.
- AI permissionsBounded
Observe is read-only. Recommendations need accountable approval. Autopilot can raise protection only through expiring overlays inside an active delegation.
- Failure postureClosed
Stale evidence, provider failure, revoked authority, and invalid output do not produce an automated action.
Operating principles
The rules that survive the interface.
- One source
- Declared policy is not copied between screens and services. Derived configuration can be rebuilt and audited.
- Restrictive wins
- Fail-safe infrastructure limits and explicit operator locks outrank automated convenience.
- Revoke first
- Delegated authority has an expiry, a tenant revoke, a global kill switch, and a recorded actor.
- Evidence before prose
- AI output is accepted only through a closed schema; Edgion recomputes evidence before presenting a human sentence.
- No synthetic certainty
- When public telemetry is suppressed or stale, the page says so. A quiet instrument is more honest than an invented signal.
Margin correction / read carefully
What we do not claim.
Edgion Shield does not claim ISO/IEC certification, perfect attack prevention, uninterrupted availability, or an AI with unlimited permissions. Standards and controls guide engineering and verification; certification requires a separate, independent process.
